Breaking News: New Booster Set Debuts in November!
Much to my surprise, a reliable source sent me some explosive information just minutes ago. Early next month a new booster set called Dark Legends will debut at Wal-Mart. The new set is sort of like Europe’s Retro Pack reprint booster: it draws together classic cards from Legend of Blue Eyes, Metal Raiders, and Magic Ruler, as well as earlier Starter Decks. The set will contain no Secret Rares, but it will play host to some new tournament-level reprints as well as hard-to-find promos that weren’t in Retro Pack.
Dark Legends will be available through other retail venues in January. It’ll be sold in two-booster packages, and each booster has twelve cards instead of the usual nine. If a top-secret booster set releasing mere days from today wasn’t a big enough surprise, every two-pack box also comes with a copy of (yeah, you’re not going to believe it) . . .

I guess that means the set lives up to its name? We’ll have more details about Dark Legends as they become available.

Hopefully we'll get the RED Dark Magician
and the Alternate art Red-Eyes Black Dragon we're missing.
Maybe finally get Meteor Dragon, and Meteor B Dragon in the same set?
Maybe a new art for Relinquished?

The likeliness of that is close to slim.
Honestly, it would be nice to have a Super Rare version of Allure (Maybe I'll FINALLY be able to get my hands on one!?!?)

Don't know. Depends on what else is in the actual set. That said, I'd still be picking up a couple of copies just for 1 Gorz to play, 1 in the book, and extras to trade.
Honestly, I kinda expected something like this to be released but I figured they would have included an Ultra Rare version of Raiou (just like what they did last year with Light and Darkness Dragon). So hey, so much the better.
