Help with Temporary IDs and Uploading Tournament Results

Hello. I've recently become a Tournament Organizer and have overseen two events. The first was smooth sailing, but the second, we were out of Registration Cards (which I've requested a few times, but have been given no response by UpperDeck, so I don't know if they've sent them out or not...), so I gave the users who were not previously registered Temporary IDs. Now, it seems as though I'm unable to upload the results due to the Temporary IDs, and that's rather silly, since what are we supposed to do from here? Should we just not bother sanctioning our events until we receive more Registration Cards (whenever that is), or is there a very simple solution to this?

Thank you very much for your time.

Re: Help with Temporary IDs and Uploading Tournament Results

A reply was sent to the first e-mail you sent to to@upperdeck.com. A TO Kit was also sent out last week via regular US Postal Service. You should also be receiving a reply to your second e-mail you sent today. Other than those 2 e-mails, there were no other e-mails that were sent to to@upperdeck.com.

E-mails sent from Upper Deck will sometimes end up in “Bulk/Spam” folders. So if you do not see an e-mail from Upper Deck in your “Inbox”, then most likely that is where the e-mail ended up.

Temporary ID’s: If a player has never been issued a UDE number and you do not have any UDE numbers to issue, assign that player a Temporary ID. Doing so will allow that player to play in your tournament. Be sure to also take down their information so that you can have it available once you receive the UDE Membership Registration Cards.

As a reminder, it is the responsibility of the Tournament Organizer to not issue players that already have a UDE number another UDE number. The “Global Player Database” can help you to look up the UDE number of a player that has already been issued a UDE number. You can download the “Global Player Database” onto your MANTIS by clicking on “Utilities” in the menu bar and then clicking on “Perform Data Uplink”. From the “Perform Data Uplink” window check the box next to “Update Global Player List”.

Thank you very much. You've been so helpful within all of your emails and posts, I really do appreciate it. Also, after rereading my original post, I feel that I owe you and the other users on this forum an apology; it was worded quite rudely, and no one did anything to deserve it.

I'm very happy to know that another batch was sent out last week, and I'm sorry for bombarding you with emails and bringing it here. Once again, I appreciate all of your help, and thank you for your time.

Re: Help with Temporary IDs and Uploading Tournament Results

I lack UDE cards as well, and either my emails didn't get to TO@upperdeck.com or they ignored them (which doesn't make sense since usually I get answers fast from UDE), but 2 emails were sent about more UDE cards and I didn't get a response.

Another email which didn't get a response was about a Tournament that was reported incorretly and thus didn't get to the Rating&Ranking section.

I don't know if it's a problem in my Email or in UDE's, probably mine.

is it possible to ask for UDE cards using the forum and not Emails?

    Thx in advance

    Ido

Re: Help with Temporary IDs and Uploading Tournament Results

Again, if you are a Tournament Organizer in Europe, Mexico, or Latin America and send an e-mail to to@upperdeck.com to request UDE Cards, your e-mail is being forwarded to questions@upperdeck.com. Upper Deck Europe is in charge of Organized Play for those regions. Tournament Organizers in those regions can also send their request for UDE Cards directly to questions@upperdeck.com.
