    Power playing/Intimidation ruling

Trying to sort out a dispute between a friend and I.

Is it illegal to show cards in your hand to your opponent to intimidate them?

Example being, your opponent flashes you crush card turn one or such.

I've seen warnings and game losses given for this, but my friend (who happens to be a judge), says that it's legal.

So I was wondering what the OFFICIAL ruling was for this.

    Thanks very much. :]

I don't know about an "official" ruling, but I'm pretty sure this isn't illegal. If you want to give your opponent more information than you are required to give them, that's your prerogative.

Somewhat off the subject, but I will also use this in a "kinder" way of performing a demo to newer players. This is especially good for teaching if the new player also has another Specialist helping him/her with the game.

Of course, I'll let the player know this is not the normal method of play, but at least it's not breaking the rules.
